The Evie Douglas Glass Award

The Evie Douglas Choreography Challenge takes place as part of the FHSD Scholarship event.

This Choreography prize was created in memory of Evie Douglas who was a former pupil and teacher at FHSD and its purpose is to encourage creativity in choreography from dancers aged 10 years plus.

The event will be judged by an expert panel who will be assessing each entry for concept, choreographic structure and musical interpretation.

The winner will receive a beautiful glass award to keep for the year, commissioned by Evie’s mother from renowned local artist Bjorn Borseth.

The winner will also be invited to perform their winning work at FHSD Shows during the year.
